The Raymond T. Nobes Fire Rescue Training Fund
This program raises money to fund training for Connecticut firefighters to attend such programs as Rescue Core Technician, Rescue Vehicle Technician, Rope Rescue Technician, Confined Space Technician, and Emergency Medical Technician.
Created and named in honor of FF/EMT Raymond (Tim) Nobes of the Ridgefield Professional Fire Department. Tim was a dedicated firefighter who was a passionate and exemplary special rescue training instructor.
Tim passed away in 2022 but his teachings and his memory live on.
Sherman Parent Teacher Organization
The Sherman Parent Teacher Organization is a parent-led, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to build strong relationships with the school, its families and the community. By working together as a team; parents, educators and community members provide students the best possible, most well-rounded education in Sherman’s nurturing small town environment.
Revenue is used to supplement the school budget with enrichment programs and supplies for the Sherman School students and teachers.
